Sapphire's mechanical, optical, electrical, chemical and nuclear properties combined with Valley Design's ability to thin this material to ultra-thin dimensions, makes it an exceptional material for a multitude of critical applications.

Various R-plane sapphire substrates, .005", .010", .015", .020". thick, optically polished both sides to 40/20 scratch/dig surface finish.
A-plane Sapphire disks and rectangles .001", .002", .003", .004", .005", and .010" thick, polished on both sides with a 40/20 scratch/dig surface finish.
